Personal Data Protection Law Information Text and e-Bulletin Subscription Consent
This Information Text has been prepared for the purpose of informing our members, volunteers and e-bulletin subscribers regarding the processing of your personal data by MİTRA, acting as the Data Controller, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“LPPD”), taking into account the issues regarding the privacy of personal data we have obtained.
We use the information of our members, volunteers and e-bulletin subscribers in accordance with legal provisions to inform you about our own events, projects, news, campaigns and donation announcements. You can always object to the use of your information in this way by sending a short written notice to the address specified below.
You can be informed about our campaigns, constantly changing themed products, and our projects and studies periodically via e-mail or post from our e-bulletin. In order to benefit from this service, you must clearly declare to us that you accept the service. You can withdraw your consent for your address information or e-mail address to be used for sending e-mail newsletters at any time. You can use the registration termination link at the end of each e-bulletin sent to unsubscribe from the MİTRA e-bulletin. Alternatively, registered users can send a short text to [email protected] to unsubscribe from the e-bulletin.
We use a 3rd party application service to send our newsletters and manage newsletter subscription lists. This allows us to send you more clearly displayed, more comfortable and stable email templates that are better matched to our products. Click here for detailed privacy policies of the 3rd party application that provides the newsletter sending service.
As an e-bulletin sender, we respect the privacy of our members, volunteers and e-bulletin subscribers. This policy was written to determine the use of privacy and security of our visitors and members.
Privacy is one of the most important policies of the e-bulletin. We do not share any information about the identities and characteristics of our members directly with third parties.
Your email address is used only to send you the information you request. As part of using our email marketing software, email newsletters allow you to choose whether or not to receive certain information from the campaign messenger. We do not sell, rent or lend our contact lists (including member, volunteer, subscriber information) to any other company through email newsletters. There is an unsubscribe option in every email newsletter you request. Cancellation requests are processed within a few minutes and users who have requested not to receive the specified information will not be notified from that moment on.
Special Offers and Updates
We send each new user a welcome email to verify their account and confirm their password and username.
Our members, volunteers, and e-newsletter subscribers occasionally receive information about projects, events, campaigns, products, special offers, and a newsletter. To respect the privacy of our users, we offer them the option not to receive such communication messages. Everyone can cancel their subscription via the cancellation mechanism at the bottom of the e-newsletter.
Newsletter
When a user requests to subscribe to the newsletter, we ask for contact information such as name and email address. For the privacy of our users, we provide an opt-out mechanism at the bottom of each email so that they can opt out of receiving this newsletter.
Service Announcements
Occasionally, it may be necessary to send service-related announcements. For example, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we may send an e-mail to all users about the issue. Or we may send information/information e-mails regarding our updated policies. Users may choose not to receive these e-mails, but may reactivate their e-newsletter subscription later.
Support
We communicate with users regularly to provide the services they request and respond to user requests regarding account-related matters via e-mail or telephone.
Web Page Usage Information
We evaluate your IP address to diagnose potential problems with our server, to operate our Web site, and to provide various proactive fraud measures. We do not link your IP address to any personal information. We may track activity in those areas to determine which areas our users are using. E-newsletter delivery does not track what individuals are reading, but instead tracks the number of times each page is visited. This allows MİTRA to provide you with a superior and more informative web experience.
Security Technology
In order to protect our e-newsletter sending information assets, a significant amount of investment has been made in up-to-date server, database, backup and firewall technologies. These technologies are part of a sophisticated security structure. All data is stored on our tightly controlled secure servers.
Policy Updates
We may change these privacy policies from time to time. When MİTRA makes changes to these policies, we will indicate these updates on our homepage and send an e-mail to users who have consented. We will notify you of all changes here, so be sure to check back regularly. When our policies change in the future, the personal information you provide to us will not conflict with your previous consent.
If you still have any questions, you can contact us at [email protected].
